Manifest Love by Doing a New Moon Meditation + Ritual

Did you know that we can use the moon phases to manifest love? In fact, our unconscious desire to try new things, start new projects and go on dates according is because of the new moon which is what this article is about!

The new moon is all about new beginnings.

Starting a new chapter of your life.

Stepping into who you are on a deeper level.

Tomorrow, Oct 16, 2020, is the new moon, and I wanted to create something different and special than what I usually do on my weekly podcast and blog here seeing as how this is the ideal time in the month to manifest…

Back to how you show up depending on the moon phase. You might have noticed you have weeks of full productivity and creative energy, and other days of rest and rejuvenation. This is not just because you’ve run out of ideas after a big flow of them—but because of the moon!

The New Moon is about new beginnings, while the Full Moon is about releasing and closing loose ends. More on the Full Moon in a couple of weeks.

I’ve been reading Do Less by Kate Northrup where she explains the effects of the moon on a woman’s cycle, and I am totally blown away by how eerily accurate it is. The moon is a resource that I never thought to consider while trying to achieve my purpose, womanhood, dreams, and love.

My only disappointment is that I wished someone had given me this information when I was a tween.

But it makes SENSE; we are beings made up of 75% (ish) water, so if the moon can affect the tides in the ocean, then it sure as heck can affect us.

The experience for this week: I’ve included a 20-minute, step-by-step ritual and meditation to do in the evening. I’ve included some incredibly soothing and relaxing tunes. It’ll be just like I’m right there with you!

What you need:

  • A candle (optional)

  • A journal or piece of paper

  • Pen to write

  • A quiet space

  • 20-30 minutes of uninterrupted time

What to expect

I’ll be walking you through a 3-part ritual where I’ll have you write down your intentions and affirmations, then visualize them, and then end it with declaring it out loud!

A reminder

Intention is everything. When I started doing these rituals a year ago, I got caught up in doing it “right” instead of having fun and feeling into the experience. I would focus on whether or not it “worked” but then reality is that just settling the intention is powerful. I created this ritual and meditation to create a loving and safe space to set these intentions and feel like you’re with a friend!
