Welcome to Day 11 of Breathe Through Your Breakup!

It might sound random to include a body self-love meditation in a breakup journey but actually—it’s so important to acknowledge how the body cares for us when we are going through a tough time.

For many of us, we experience anxiety, digestive issues, chest pain, body aches, and so much more.

Our spiritual ailments manifesting physically in the body.

So today we are taking 16 minutes out of our day to be fully present with our bodies to give them the love they deserve for all that they do for us and how they tend to us in this painful time.

I also want to take today to acknowledge that every body is different and beautiful as they are. I am the youngest person I know who suffers from chronic vertigo and I have days where I get angry at my body for barely allowing me to walk without feeling like the ground is moving and the room is spinning. This practice of body love is what I use when I feel hurt or betrayed by what my body isn’t always able to do for me. I acknowledge that some of you doing this meditation might not have the body parts I mention, or the full function of the body parts mentioned.
