Everyone Needs a Breakup Coach: Guest on Spiritual A**hole Podcast
I had the HILARIOUS pleasure of being a guest on the Spiritual Asshole Podcast last week.
I know, breakups and hilarious don’t exactly fall into the same sentence, yet Brendan Fitzgibbons made that possible. His works been featured on Comedy Central, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, Girl Code vs. Guy Code, NBC and more.
Here’s the thing: normally on a podcast where I’m being interviewed, we discuss the true pain and agony of a breakup, and how to take the slow and healthy steps towards working through that pain.
But on Brendan’s podcast, we went straight into the stuff everyone is literally dying to ask a breakup coach as he’s experienced a few (okay, maybe more) breakups in his lifetime. He’s such a great example of someone who is doing deep inner work, but can also mix in humour to lighten the load.
And we all need that when we go through a huge life transition like a breakup or divorce.
What we dive deep about in this episode:
How men and women handle breakups differently AND the same (and if men are just turning to porn for comfort)
What we need to do to actually get over a breakup (instead of all the stuff Life Coach Google tells us to do)
Why intuition is CRUCIAL in the healing process (and not just following what seems like “good” advice)
Serious myth-busting about what breakups are for and HOW they actually help us evolve
Honestly, so much more.
And, don’t you dare stop at just listening to this episode. Brendan’s podcast is FULL of stuff you wish you learned at 16 to help you be your best self. From manifesting, mindset, conscious dating and just being your best self.
